Known for her unusual sense of humor, Ann attributes this in part to surviving her primary and
secondary education in the Catholic school system, where she learned two things from Sister
Thomas Marie her first grade teacher
Ann is a Medicine Woman for the People of the Pipestem and an Elder at Resurrection
Presbyterian Church in Petersburg, Michigan.
Ann is the mother of two adult children, a son Garrett, who is a wildlife biologist in Alaska
and a daughter, Leah, who is working in Toledo, Ohio developing a career as an arborist.
Buddah and Serenity, Ann's two cats, live with her in Milan, Michigan.
Spirit, quite literally brought her to Bear Creek Farm in 2001, through a series of what some
might call elegant timings, where she worked with E. Jack Lemon on her psychological and
spiritual growth through co-creative therapy.
As a surviving victim of sexual abuse, Ann had been struggling for years to make sense out
of her life. Walking her path in the energy of the Land, being supported by the spiritual
community of the People of the Pipestem, and working diligently on her growth, has enabled
Ann to develop her spirituality to a level where healing takes place normally and naturally.
As one of those who assisted Jack in the development of his writings, creation of workshops
and seminars, and The Reality School, Ann has committed her life to the healing of the earth
and those who reside there.
